July 1-13, 2022
Part Two - Western Iceland
Page Four- Latrabjarg Cliffs and Reykjavik
We hiked along the Latrabjarg Cliffs, the westernmost point of Iceland.
The Cliffs are known for their millions of nesting seabirds. This is a
puffin. Puffins nest in vast numbers in this area. They allow people to
get close. They burrow in this area from May to August.

The day after the Cliffs hike, we headed to Reykjavik. As part of that journey, we
rode on a car ferry across Breidafjordur Bay, a marine conservation area.
